Is the library closed?
Only temporarily! We will reopen in mid 2020 in the new Freyer – Newman Center.
How can I get library assistance?
During the closure, librarians will continue to be available to answer your questions via telephone or email. Call 720-865-3570 or email email@example.com. Librarians and Gardening Help volunteers are available in our temporary offices Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, noon-4 p.m. in the El Pomar room near the Info Desk in Boettcher Memorial Center.
Where did all of your books go?
The library collections are safely stored offsite in a climate controlled secure library storage facility.
Where do I return library books?
Please return books to a librarian in our temporary location in the El Pomar room in Boettcher Memorial Center.
Can I donate books to the Library?
During this transition, we will not have space to store book donations. Visit us again in 2020 or visit your local public library to make a donation.
Will the library be gaining more space?
Yes, both behind-the-scenes spaces and public spaces will grow. To see for yourself, here’s more information about the Freyer – Newman Center.
Is Gardening Help still available?
Yes! Colorado Master Gardeners will be happy to help you throughout the year.
How do I sign up for your eBooks?
Librarians can set up an account for members. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and member number, and we’ll write back with more information.
What can I do to help the Library?
The biggest help we currently need is getting books returned. We want to open in 2020 with all of them! The second best way to help is to stay in touch. We’ll send periodic updates if you sign up for our e-newsletter.
Can I volunteer while the library is closed?
Contact the Volunteer Services Department for current volunteering opportunities. Email email@example.com or call 720-865-3609.
