Girl Scout Make and Take at Plains Conservation Center: Bee Hotels

Did you know that some bees live alone rather than in hives? Enjoy tasting some honey while you learn about the different types of bees in Colorado and make a bee hotel. After you complete your bee hotel, explore the prairie on your own with a self-guided scavenger hunt to look for bees. Materials provided are appropriate for children ages 4 and up. Preregistration is required.

Girl Scout Make and Take programs offer a space for scouts to connect with natural materials and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies.
