Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors: Create a Nature Journal
Join us for a morning of creativity and reflection at Chatfield Farms and learn how to craft a book cover to create your very own nature journal. Explore the natural spaces around Chatfield Farms and use your journal to connect scientific observations with supportive data and illustrations to interact with nature in new ways. This program supports the Cadette Book Arts Badge.
Nature journaling is a practice that encourages close observation of the natural world. Taking notes, collecting measurements and making illustrations are all components of a robust nature journal. This program offers Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors the opportunity to create a handmade nature journal and learn observational skills to help them study their environment from a fresh perspective.
