Create Your Own Plant-Based Inks

Bring your own dried or green plant matter to class and watch the magic happen as the tannic acid in plants reacts with iron salt to create rich, natural inks. Use this process to create your own place-based palette, then combine your inks with paint made from soil to make a series of drawings about Denver’s natural landscape.
