Discover a Unique Rental Space at Chatfield Farms
Since the land Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms is located on was once a 19th century homestead and farm, we offer some unique rental spaces original to the property. One of these spaces is the Polly Steel Center, which was built before 1900 and belonged to the Green family farm.
This charming single-story house with wraparound porch has been getting a facelift to make it even better for small-scale rentals. We’ve redone the floors, freshened up the paint, brought in new furniture and updated the décor. New houseplants add pops of green inside while outside, our horticulture staff has designed the surrounding Cottage Garden to feature blush hues. We were even able to get a unique chaise from the late 1800s from Ackerman and Sons Furniture, who beautifully restored the piece with olive-colored velvet and a peony pattern accent to tie in with the Cottage Garden.
Check out the Polly Steele Center for your next event. It’s a delightful spot for meetings, to use as a wedding suite, to tie the knot elopement-style and coming soon—high tea!
