Restoration Ecology, Conservation Biology, Native Plant Cultivation and Seed Production, and Natural Resource Assessment and Management, with a special interest and background in avian biology and fire ecology
I have a very strong, and I’m told very evident, passion for studying the ecological processes of our natural world and conserving and/or restoring the players in those processes. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to have contributed to these efforts through working closely with nonprofit conservation organizations, federal agencies and private consulting firms. A goal of mine is to have a hand in the development and implementation of new strategies that help us to make significant progress for our environment and biological resources in not just a restorative sense, but a preventative one.
