Sumi-e Painting

Learn the basics of this traditional Chinese brush painting technique that uses rich, black sumi ink. Focus on drawing delicate flowers and trees. The class also visits the gallery exhibition Realm of Wonder: Izumi Yokoyama to see examples of Sumi-e ink painting.
