Seedlings: Three Sisters Garden
Join us as we explore this famous vegetable trio of corn, squash and beans and how they help each other grow.
Ages 3-6 years: Wednesday, October 19, 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m.
Ages 24-36 months: Thursday, October 20, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Ages 18-24 months: Friday, October 21, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Programs include stories, nature walks and art projects.
Program Location: Fall and winter Seedlings programs take place outdoors as the weather allows. On days with wet weather or colder temperatures, all or portions of the program may be moved indoors as needed without prior notice.
Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years old.
Program Fee: $11 per toddler/preschooler, $9 per toddler/preschooler member; one adult per child is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings should purchase or reserve general admission tickets.
Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one weeks notice are non-refundable.
