Seedlings: Harvest Treasures

Roll up your sleeves for some harvest fun! Take a nature walk in the Gardens and search for the colors, shapes and sounds of the season. Create an autumn collage to share with your friends.

Ages 3-6 years: Wednesday, November 9, 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m.

Ages 24-36 months: Thursday, November 10, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.

Ages 18-24 months: Friday, November 11, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.

 

Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Programs include stories, nature walks and art projects.

 

Program Location: Fall and winter Seedlings programs take place outdoors as the weather allows. On days with wet weather or colder temperatures, all or portions of the program may be moved indoors as needed without prior notice.

 

Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years old.

 

Program Fee: $11 per toddler/preschooler, $9 per toddler/preschooler member; one adult per child is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings should purchase or reserve general admission tickets.

 

Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one weeks notice are non-refundable.
