Seedlings: The Great Backyard Bird Count!

Learn more about the Great Backyard Bird Count while we explore birds in the wintery garden and find out what plants they use to keep snuggly and safe!

Ages 3-6 years: Wednesday, February 14, 9:15 or 10:30 a.m.

Ages 24-36 months: Thursday, February 15, 9:15 or 10:30 a.m.

Ages 18-24 months: Friday, February 16, 9:15 or 10:30 a.m.


Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Programs include stories, nature walks and art projects.


Program Location: Seedlings programs have indoor and outdoor components. Participants should come prepared to spend time both outdoors and indoors.


Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years


Program Fee: $12 nonmember toddler or preschooler, $10 member toddler or preschooler; one adult per child is admitted free of charge.


Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
