Seedlings: The Great Backyard Bird Count!
Learn more about the Great Backyard Bird Count while we explore birds in the wintery garden and find out what plants they use to keep snuggly and safe!
Ages 3-6 years: Wednesday, February 12, 9:15 or 10:30 a.m.
Ages 24-36 months: Thursday, February 13, 9:15 or 10:30 a.m.
Ages 18-24 months: Friday, February 14, 9:15 or 10:30 a.m.
Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Programs include stories, nature walks and art projects.
Program Location: Seedlings programs have indoor and outdoor components. Participants should come prepared to spend time both outdoors and indoors.
Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years
Program Fee: $13 per toddler/preschooler, $11 per toddler/preschooler member; one adult per child is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings should purchase or reserve general admission tickets.
Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
