Seedlings: Garden Detectives
Discover the Gardens with the tools of a detective as you become a garden sleuth. Use your senses to discover natural clues and hidden treasures throughout the Gardens.
Ages 3-6 years: Wednesday, October 16, 9:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m.
Ages 24-36 months: Thursday, October 17, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Ages 18-24 months: Friday, October 18, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Programs include stories, nature walks and art projects.
Program Location: Depending on the weather and program topic, seedlings programs could take place indoors, outdoors or a combination of both. Participants should come prepared to spend time both indoors and outdoors.
Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years
Program Fee: $12 per toddler/preschooler, $10 per toddler/preschooler member; one adult per child is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings should purchase or reserve general admission tickets.
Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
