Seedlings: Cool Season Veggies
Investigate the different seeds that are good for planting in cool weather. Dig in the garden and plant a vegetable seed of your very own!
Ages 3-6 years: Wednesday, April 17, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Ages 24-36 months: Thursday, April 18, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Ages 18-24 months: Friday, April 19, 9:15 a.m. or 10:30 a.m.
Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Programs include stories, nature walks and art projects.
Program Location: Seedlings programs have indoor and outdoor components. Participants should come prepared to spend time both outdoors and indoors.
Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years
Program Fee: $12 nonmember toddler or preschooler, $10 member toddler or preschooler; one adult per child is admitted free of charge.
Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
