Secrets of Silverpoint Drawing

Practiced by Leonardo da Vinci and Albrecht Dürer, the silverpoint technique (or drawing with soft metals) was nearly lost for 500 years but has recently undergone a revival. Class discussion includes history of the medium, proper use of materials, preparation of paper and drawing methods as you draw inspiration from the rich tradition of still life compositions.

Prerequisites: Some drawing experience recommended
