Science Studio for Homeschoolers: From Soil to Sculpture

Grow your connection with the land around you through the exploration of soil and clay. Join us as we take a closer look at the components of soil. Then try your hand at sculpting with clay.

Science Studio offers families a guided classroom experience to investigate the  intersection of art, science and the natural world. Each studio session examines a natural or scientific concept through hands on exploration.  After the exploration, be inspired by nature to create using materials related to the program's theme!

Date and Time: December 1, 10 - 11:30 a.m. or 1 - 2:30 p.m.

Fee: $16 non member child; $14 member child; One adult per child is free of charge.

Location: York Street; This program takes place indoors and runs between 60 - 90 minutes depending on how long your group spends creating your art work.

Audience: Families with Children ages 7 - 12

Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are nn-refundable.
