Science Studio for Homeschoolers: From Plants to Paper
Plant fibers are used to make a number of everyday items such as paper, rope or t-shirts. Join us to take a closer look at how plants are used to make paper. Try your hand at making your own unique paper using dried botanicals.
Science Studio offers families a guided classroom experience to investigate the connections between scientific concepts, the arts and the natural world. Each studio session showcases a unique collection of natural specimens for exploration and introduces families to a different form of art or art medium related to the collection of specimens. After exploring the natural specimens, children can create works of art to take home.
