Mindful Birdwatching at Chatfield Farms
Open to all experience levels! Join us for a guided leisurely outing through Chatfield Farms as we try to find different birds and learn how to identify them, why they are important to our ecosystem and many other fun facts. Discover what native plants you can use in your yard to attract local and migratory birds.
Birdwatching is a wonderful mindfulness practice and has several health benefits. Research proves that it can lower stress hormones and blood pressure and reduce feelings of depression and anxiety. Leave with a deeper appreciation for our feathered friends.
Expect to walk about one and a half miles. You are encouraged to bring a personal pair of binoculars as there are limited binoculars available to borrow.
