Homeschool Science Supplement at Plains Conservation Center: Microscopic Life
A whole world of living things exists beyond what we can see with our eyes. In this class, students explore microscopic organisms such as bacteria and other tiny life forms. Using microscopes and hands-on investigations, students observe microscopic life up close and learn how these organisms play important roles in ecosystems and the environment.
Homeschool science supplement classes are designed for 4th-9th graders to expand on their scientific knowledge and skills.
Audience: Homeschool families with children in grades 4-9.
Program Fee: $18 non member child; $16 member child; One adult per child is free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings ages 3 and up are $7 each. Non-participating siblings do not participate in take home activities.
