Homeschool Science Supplement at Plains Conservation Center: Fossils

Fossils give us clues about animals and plants that lived long ago. In this class, students discover how fossils form, explore different types of fossils, and learn how scientists use them to understand prehistoric life. Through hands-on activities and examining fossil specimens, students investigate how ancient environments changed over time and how fossils help us piece together Earth’s history.
