Homeschool Make and Take: Ornate Orchids
Experience one of the largest plant families in a whole new way. Orchids are found on every continent except Antarctica. Their captivating flowers range from colorful and complex to dull and dainty. Complete a self-guided tour of the Orchid Showcase to learn more about the botanical history and morphology of these fascinating plants, then create and build your own unique orchid plant out of paper. Each participant will also receive a live orchid plant to bring home.
Homeschool Make and Take programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with the natural world and create together.
