Flower Power Hour - Next Level

Join Lisa Weddel, owner of Designs Inspired by You, for the new Flower Power Hour - Next Level – your quarterly dose of blooms and bold design. Each session explores a new elevated style or technique—think layered textures, creative mechanics, and pro tips to make your arrangements pop. Each participant still takes home a jaw-dropping, totally unique creation, just with a little more flair. Grab your drink, bring your besties, and let’s get fancy with flowers!

Prerequisite: To get the most out of this program, we strongly recommend attending at least 4 sessions of Flower Happy Hour before registering for this course.

All floral supplies will be provided and bloom selection will change seasonally. BYOB wine and beer is permitted.
Please be sure to bring valid ID if consuming alcohol.

Instructor: Lisa Weddel AIFD, PFCI, AAF

Lisa AIFD PFCI AAF has been in the floral industry for over 30 years.  She has been active in all areas of the industry from designer, teacher to owner of several businesses. Lisa has a floriculture degree, is an Iowa Master florist, as well as being an accredited member of the American Institute of Floral Designers organization where she currently holds the position of President of the South-Central Chapter.  In addition, Lisa has served on the Board of Trustees of the Professional Floral Communicators International as Chairman. This is an organization under the umbrella of the Society of American Florists.
Past floral accomplishments include designing at the prestigious Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, CA for over 16 parades as a designer as well as a team leader. She designed on the floral team for President George W. Bush's 2005 Presidential Inauguration, and designed at the 2019 Kentucky Derby.
