Children and Family Make and Take: Fantastical Creatures

Encounter fantastical creatures as you view Spirit Guides: Fantastical Creatures from the Workshop of Jacobo and María Ángeles on display throughout the living galleries of the Gardens. Use a self guided scavenger hunt to explore the joyful, fanciful and distinctively patterned animal sculptures inspired by the Zapotec calendar. Then try your hand at painting your own fantastical creature to take home with you.

Family Make and Take programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with natural materials and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies. You and your family provide the ideas and creativity!
