Birding Wagon Tour at Plains Conservation Center
Explore the prairie through the eyes of a birder on this wagon tour across the Plains Conservation Center. As we travel through the shortgrass prairie, participants watch and listen for the many bird species that call this landscape home—from meadowlarks and hawks to seasonal visitors passing through Colorado.
Along the way, our guides identify birds by sight and sound while sharing stories about their behaviors, habitats and the important role they play in the prairie ecosystem. Bring your binoculars and curiosity as we search the skies and grasslands for the birds of the plains.
