Autumn Trees in Scratchboard
Take inspiration from the magnificent trees at Denver Botanic Gardens to create dramatic black-and-white drawings in scratchboard. If you love working with pen-and-ink but find its permanence intimidating, this forgiving medium is for you. Apply black India ink to a white clayboard surface, then strategically scratch off the ink to reveal the form and texture of the tree.
