Film Screening: Can You Hear Me?

What does it mean to make something that transforms the way people see the world? Can You Hear Me? takes audiences on a journey around the globe with celebrated sculptor Jaume Plensa, exploring his iconic installations in public spaces across Spain, France, Sweden, the United States, Canada and Japan, and into the studio where it all begins. The film offers an unfiltered look at Plensa's artistic process across seven chapters, moving between intimate moments in the studio and the production of some of his most ambitious public works.

Paired with Plensa's exhibition currently on view at Denver Botanic Gardens, A New Humanism, this screening is a rare opportunity to go deeper to hear the artist's own ideas behind the sculptures you've been walking among all summer.

A brief panel discussion and Q&A will follow the screening. Light refreshments included.
