Created specifically for Denver Botanic Gardens, Shadow and Light is an immersive sculptural installation integrating the poetics of space with the luminosity of light. Discover an exhibition that changes with every visit, highlighting the shifting mood of light throughout the day and across the seasons.

 

About the Artist

Based in Colorado, Patrick Marold’s works are deeply tied to landscape and natural cycles. Marold has been the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, and his works have been shown in exhibitions nationally and internationally. He has been selected for public art projects throughout the United States, including the Windmill Project in Vail, Colorado, a temporary landscape installation which seeded a local valley with a mass of light-generating turbines, and Shadow Array, a permanent seven-acre installation at Denver International Airport.
