Arts Ecosystem Tour: MCA Denver
This new series of Arts Ecosystem Tours explores Denver's vibrant arts scene, bridging the natural and creative worlds while cultivating opportunities for dialogue, connection and inspiration. This month we invite you to join us at the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver (MCA Denver), where current exhibitions dive into water's profound significance as both life force and artistic inspiration.
Through two compelling exhibitions — Roni Horn's Water, Water on the Wall, You're the Fairest of Them All and Deborah Jack's The Haunting of Estuaries… An (After)Math of Confluence — you'll discover how contemporary artists interpret water's dynamic power, unpredictability and essential role in our environment.
Led by Hannah Craft, associate director of learning engagement & interpretation and curatorial coordinator Katie Foster, along with MCA Denver staff, you’ll be guided through the exhibitions on a casual, interactive tour. Following the tour, enjoy a happy hour on the rooftop with complementary refreshments where you can continue conversations and reflect on the connections between art, nature and environmental stewardship.
