Before you plant, learn what works for your garden and make a plan that leads to growing success. Discover how to plan your layout and attract pollinators. Then dig into cool vs. warm season plants, heirlooms or hybrids, and seeds vs. transplants.
Session 3: Care and Caution in the Vegetable Garden
Friday, April 3, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Explore techniques for succession planting, crop rotation, and companion planting and boosting your soil. Learn the importance of plant families and practices to extend the season.
Session 4: Pest And Disease Management and Winding Down the Season
Friday, April 10, 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Learn to manage the most common Colorado pests and diseases, harvest at the right time, and prepare your garden for the end of the growing season so it’s geared up for next season.
