Mushrooms in Mixed Media

This workshop explores how to create the intricate forms and soft velvety surfaces of mushrooms in mixed media. Start with a visit to the fungi collection to learn about these amazing organisms. Then using watercolor and graphite, explore techniques to create detailed textures and tonal depth. Participants can experiment with specialized supplies in class and take some home in a goody bag.
