Dig In! Soil Essentials for Colorado Gardeners

Healthy gardens begin with understanding what lies beneath. In this class, dig into the foundations of soils—examining what makes them unique and how they influence plant success. From gritty textures to complex pH balances, we’ll demystify soil characteristics and testing methods. You’ll also uncover the hidden ecosystem within the soil, learning how microbes, organic matter, and composting contribute to vibrant, resilient gardens. Whether you're troubleshooting poor growth or planning a new bed, this class equips you with the tools to work with your soil, not against it.
