Winter & Spring Seedlings Program Schedule
Seedlings classes offer a fun, hands-on way for young children, ages 18 months to six years, to explore the plant world while developing an understanding and appreciation for plants and their importance. Classes include interactive explorations, nature walks, and stories for children and their caregivers.
Classes are offered for three different age groups and are modified to fit the developmental needs of each group.
- Wednesdays: Ages 3-6 years
- Thursdays: Ages 24-36 months
- Fridays: Ages 18-24 months
Program Location: Seedlings programs have indoor and outdoor components. Participants should come prepared to spend time both outdoors and indoors.
Program Fee: $13 per toddler/preschooler; $11 per member toddler/preschooler; one adult per child is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings should purchase or reserve general admission tickets.
Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15 percent cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week’s notice are non-refundable.

Winter Terrariums

Nature’s Art
Roll up your sleeves for some garden art fun. Discover the many ways plants inspire art, then explore the Gardens for inspiration and create your own natural masterpiece.

The Dinosaur Garden
Take a journey back in time and roar like a dinosaur as we discover the plants that dinosaurs liked to eat.
