Personal Statement
As head curator of natural history collections, I oversee the care and development of our plant, fungi and arthropod collections. My past research has focused on plant phylogenetics, species-tree reconstruction and phylogeography based on integrated studies carried out in the field, laboratory and herbarium. My current interests are in collections-based research on species-diversity, endemism and community assembly in the Colorado flora.
