Early Closings
On several occasions, Denver Botanic Gardens and Chatfield Farms will close early to host a Gardens special event, or for maintenance.

- Thursday, May 7, close at 2 p.m. for Spring Plant Sale Preview Party
- May 8 & 9, close at 5 p.m. for Spring Plant Sale
June
- Tuesday, June 23, close at 2 p.m. for a concert*
- Monday, June 29, close at 2 p.m. for Evenings al Fresco
- Tuesday, June 30, close at 2 p.m. for Evenings al Fresco
July through December early closings announced soon.
Freyer – Newman Center All Day Closures

No public access the week of Monday, March 30 through Friday, April 3, during business hours.
- Lower level closure of the visitor entry, lower atrium, all galleries, and the north, east and south balconies for sculpture installation.
- Security will assist students in accessing the classrooms this week.
Freyer – Newman Center Early Closures
- Saturday, April 11 at 4 p.m. for a private event
- Saturday, April 16 at 4 p.m. for a private event
- Saturday, April 25 at 4 p.m. for a private event
Chatfield Farms Early Closures

Closures Due to Holidays
Denver Botanic Gardens (York Street and Chatfield Farms) and Plains Conservation Center are closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
Administrative offices are also closed on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day and Labor Day.
