Moore in the Gardens

The first presentation of the Henry Moore’s monumental works offered in the American West, Moore in the Gardens showcased Moore’s modernist reclining figures and interlocking, abstracted forms.

This powerful exhibit highlighted the inspiration Moore found in natural environments, emphasizing the relationship of humanity to the natural world. Co-curated with the The Henry Moore Foundation.

Twenty of Moore’s massive sculptures were displayed within the landscape settings of the Gardens’ York Street and Chatfield locations, providing the perfect backdrop for work which demands to be seen in the open.
