Seeking inspiration for how to take your creative practice to the next level? Looking for advice about navigating exhibitions, merchandising or collaborating with scientists? This online series addresses professional practices and will highlight botanical artists, Gardens staff members and speakers from the greater botanical illustration community. Creative Convening

Creatives of all kinds are welcome! We open our botanical illustration classrooms for you to explore, try new mediums and meet creatives of all walks. Local guest artists and community partners lead activities and an art supply swap allows you to trade gently used art materials. Creative Convening sessions are free. Advanced registration is required.

Intersections Lectures

Select Wednesdays, 6-7 p.m.
$10 member, $12 non-member

These talks by artists, scientists, community members and thought leaders explore a wide range of topics highlighting the junctions of art and science. Lectures are typically 45-60 minutes followed by discussion.
