Botanical Illustration Scholarship Program

With ongoing support from Botanical Interests, the School of Botanical Art & Illustration is able to provide tuition and included supplies for foundational courses in our Botanical Illustration Foundational Certificate Program to identified students.

Are you an artist or aspiring illustrator from an historically marginalized or BIPOC community? We encourage you to apply for this scholarship. Denver Botanic Gardens’ core values guide programs and support the creative expression of people from diverse backgrounds.

The scholarship amount may vary from year to year and has no cash value. Recipients are responsible for the cost of any required materials not included in course fees, as well as and associated travel and or accommodation expenses. Awarded funds must be used within a two-year period.

Funding awarded through this scholarship applies only to the following foundational courses: Botanical Illustration in Pencil I, Botany for the Botanical Illustrator, Composition for the Botanical Illustrator, Color Layering for Colored Pencil and Color Mixing in Watercolor.
