Water Lilies in Mixed Media

Gain an understanding of the basic botanical structures of water lilies and how they grow, change and mature throughout the season. Discover various ways of illustrating water lilies using graphite, color pencil, watercolor, ink or combinations of multiple media. Explore the color palettes common among water lilies by observing and illustrating from the Gardens’ aquatic collection.
