Guided Homeschool Exploration at Plains Conservation Center: Spinning and Weaving

Textiles have been around since the beginning of human culture. Learn how fabric is made in this hands-on workshop. Students will get to see and experience how fibers are processed to make yarn and spin a piece of yarn to take home. Then they will learn the process of weaving and create a small woven item of their own. Parents may need to assist younger children.
