Camping on the Prairie Overnight Adventure for Families

Join us at Plains Conservation Center for an overnight camping adventure! Start with a sunset wagon ride across the prairie to learn about crepuscular wildlife, followed by a campfire with smores and an astronomy lesson and finishing with sleeping under the stars at the tipi camp. The next morning we will enjoy breakfast and take a morning wagon ride to visit the farm animals before departing.
Families are welcome to sleep outdoors or indoors. We have plenty of space in the tipi camp for setting up tarps and sleeping bags. There is also a yurt, 3 tipis and the Visitor Center all available for those wanting to be indoors.
All food is provided. Please specify any food allergies in an email to pccinfo@botanicgardens.org so we may accommodate you.
