Homeschool Science Supplement at Plains Conservation Center: Comparative Anatomy

Learn about the evolution of animal body systems through comparative dissections in this hands-on class. We will begin with a dissection of an earthworm to see primitive systems and the function of the different body systems. Students will then dissect a frog to see much more advanced examples of those same systems. We will discuss how those vertebrate systems are the same as and different from human anatomy.
