Homeschool Science Supplement at Plains Conservation Center: Chemical Reactions

Chemical reactions happen all around and within us all the time. In this class, students will start by observing different types of chemical reactions, then we will move on to consider how we can change factors to affect the speed and intensity. Students will carry out a number of experiments adjusting variables to learn more about how chemical reactions take place and can be affected by conditions. Homeschool science supplement classes are designed for 5th-10th graders to expand on their scientific knowledge and skills.

Audience: Homeschool families with children in grades 5 - 10.
