Repeating Patterns With Adobe Illustrator

Learn to create repeating patterns in Adobe Illustrator that can be used to make things such as fabric and wrapping paper with Michigan-based botanical artist Cara Cummings. Begin by learning what kinds of art works best for this process, then create your own repeatable design. The three-day onsite intensive class also includes time in the Gardens for sketching, use of our scanner and plenty of individual attention developing your drawing and troubleshooting with the software. For either class, a computer with Adobe Illustrator installed is required, as well as a smartphone or tablet with a camera, or a scanner. No prior experience needed.
