The Gardens has camps for kids only that are full of exploration, games, activities, mindfulness and plants to take home.
Registered families must complete all required camper forms in our camp family portal to secure enrollment in camp. You will receive a link to log into your existing family portal or create a new family profile in your initial booking confirmation email. Email gardencamp@botanicgardens.org with questions.
Program fee: $320 per week non-members, $295 per week members
Registration for all 2023 camps opens at 10 a.m. on Jan. 12 for members and Jan. 16 for the public.

To join the waitlist for a camp, follow the links for that camp week and choose to join the waitlist. A member of the camp team will contact families on the waitlist if more spots become available.

York Street Summer Garden Camps
Budding Botanists (ages 8-12), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 12-16 or July 10-14
From plant cells to global conservation of rare plants, delve into the world of botanical secrets at the Gardens. In this week of camp, we learn all about what plants need to thrive. Help us take care of our gardens and plant your own mini garden to take home.
Sprouts 101 (ages 6-8), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 12-16 or July 10-14

Outdoor Observers (ages 6-12), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 19-23 or July 17-21
Immerse yourself in nature at the Gardens and explore our connections to local habitats and global ecosystems by learning about our different gardens in-depth through nature play, science experiments, and art projects. Create a mini habitat garden to take home.
Fantastic Flora (ages 6-12), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 26-30 or July 24-28
Get lost in the mystical world of plants while creating flora-inspired artworks. Explore plant mythologies, hone your artistic skills, and plant a magical mini garden to take home.
Farm Camps at Chatfield Farms
Join us for a week on the farm to dig in the dirt, meet farm animals and connect with nature while learning about the daily rhythms outside of the city. Each day, make new discoveries on the farm through art, science, gardening and outdoor exploration. All Farm Camps take place at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms in Littleton. No aftercare is available at Chatfield Farms.
Chatfield Farms Summer Camps
Water Wizards (ages 6-12), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 12-16 or July 10-14
Discover the wonders of water and aquatic habitats. Immerse yourself in nature along the banks of Deer Creek and the wetland ponds while observing frogs, insects and birds of prey.
Seeds of Civilization (ages 6-12), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 19-23 or July 17-21
From art and buildings to food and medicine, explore the ways that plants have helped people around the world for thousands of years. Plant a container garden full of useful flora to take home.
Life on the Farm (ages 6-12), 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., June 26-30 or July 24-28
Explore the Hildebrand Ranch and learn about life on a farm. Meet our farm animals, learn what it takes to make vegetables grow and discover how everything we eat is connected to the farm.
2023 scholarships spaces are full and applications are currently being reviewed.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations more than three weeks prior to the start of camp are subject to a 15 percent cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than three weeks’ notice are non-refundable.
