Children and Family Make and Take: Pollination Stations

What's the buzz around the Gardens? Pollinators! Join us to discover how plants communicate with pollinators at the Gardens. "Bee" inspired to create a pollinator friendly feeder to take home with you.

Family Make and Take programs offer a space for children and their grownups to connect with natural materials and create together. These self-guided and self-paced programs are designed to provide a creative environment that sparks imagination. The Gardens provides the space and supplies. You and your family provide the ideas and creativity!

Program Location: This program takes place indoors. Most groups spend between 30 minutes to an hour creating their projects.

Audience: Materials provided are appropriate for families with children ages 5 and up.

Program Fee: Price: $15 per project fee non-members; $12 per project fee members. Each project fee includes the materials to make and decorate one pollinator friendly feeder.

The number of project fees should equal the number of pollination stations your group will create.

Cancellations: Cancellations more than one week prior to a class are subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Cancellations with less than one week's notice are non-refundable.
