Spring Plant Sale
Friday & Saturday, May 11 & 12
One of the longest-held traditions at the Gardens, this event features a huge variety of plants. Gardens horticulturists are on site to answer questions about gardening. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available, including providing visitors with information about plants, greeting guests and helping guests make purchases.

Fall Plant & Bulb Sale
Friday & Saturday, Sept. 28 & 29
Hundreds of bulbs and Grown at the Gardens plants are offered, along with expert advice from our horticulturists. Volunteer opportunities include selling plants, greeting shoppers and helping guests with purchases.

Glow at the Gardens
Oct. 17, 18, 23, 24 & 25
Glow at the Gardens lights up the night with hundreds of glowing jack-o’-lanterns and pumpkin displays. Volunteers assist with setup of festive decorations, supervising activities, selling merchandise and welcoming guests.

Día de los Muertos
Saturday, Nov. 3
This ancient Mexican tradition celebrates the souls of those who have departed. Volunteers assist with workshops and activities involving sugar skulls, paper flowers, traditional face painting and more.

Blossoms of Light
Nov. 23 – Jan. 1, volunteer opportunities nightly
This family-favorite holiday tradition transforms the Gardens into a winter wonderland with glittering lights. Volunteers help guests check-in and provide wayfinding.

Lavender Festival
Saturday, July 21

Corn Maze
Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays: Sept. 21 – Oct. 28
Our huge Corn Maze assumes a new shape every year at Chatfield Farms to ensure plenty of twists and turns. Volunteers are needed to take admission tickets, help check wristbands, facilitate fun family activities and more.

Pumpkin Festival
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Oct. 12, 13 & 14; volunteer opportunities each day
Join us for this classic autumn event. There are snacks, arts & crafts, fun rides for kids and more. Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals or groups and include pumpkin patch cashiers, pumpkin measurers, children’s activity assistants and more.

Santa’s Village at Chatfield Farms
Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays: Nov. 23 – Dec. 24
Join us for a holiday experience at Chatfield Farms. Positions include greeting guests at the Hildebrand Ranch house and assisting with the photo booth.
