If you want to volunteer but don’t have time to commit on a regular basis, we have plenty of one-time opportunities for you.

2021 Opportunities at York Street
 

Fall Plant & Bulb Sale
Friday & Saturday, Sept. 24 & 25
Hundreds of bulbs and Grown at the Gardens plants are offered, along with expert advice from our horticulturists. Volunteer opportunities include selling plants, greeting shoppers and helping guests with purchases.

Glow at the Gardens
October 19-24
Glow at the Gardens is a luminous, nighttime celebration of America's favorite gourd. The Gardens dresses up for Halloween with luminaria-lined pathways, spooky lighting displays and hundreds of carved, glowing pumpkins. Volunteers assist with event prep, setup of festive decorations or during the event with themed activities.

Blossoms of Light
Late November – early January
This family-favorite holiday tradition transforms the Gardens into a winter wonderland with half a million glittering lights. Volunteer opportunities include greeting guests, checking tickets and line directors.

Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield Farms
October 8-10
Join the community at Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms for this classic autumn event centered around pumpkin picking and family-friendly activities. Volunteer opportunities include cashiers, pumpkin measurers, children's activity area assistants and more.
