September 24: Exploring Floriography and the Victorian Language of Flowers
Join us as we take a look into the Victorian language of flowers and learn how to make your own flower message bouquet. Meet the Gardens librarians and tour the Helen Fowler Library in the new Freyer Newman Center to research the language of flowers, then take a trip to visit local florists at Sacred Thistle to learn how to put together your own secret message in a floral arrangement.
October 29: The Restorative and Reflective Nature of Water

Joining us is Ken Wright, founder of Wright Water Engineers, and Alexandra Smith, our landscape operations specialist, who shares with us a little about maintaining all of the Gardens waterways.
