Seedlings: Garden Explorers
Seedlings: Garden Explorers offer young children and their caregivers the opportunity to explore the wonders of nature while developing an understanding and appreciate for plants and their importance. Each program includes songs, stories and a nature exploration in Mordecai Children's Garden. This 30-40 minute program is held onsite at Denver Botanic Gardens York Street location. Each week features a different story and exploration.
Audience: Families with children ages 18 months to 6 years
Program Fee: $10 per toddler/preschooler, $8 per toddler/preschooler member; one adult per child is admitted free of charge. Additional adults and non-participating siblings (children over the age of 6 years) are $5 each. Non participating-Infants (children under the age of 18 months) are free.
*Please note, the program fee does not include admission to the main Gardens. Both members and non-members must reserve or purchase general admission tickets to the Gardens if you plan to visit them before or after your program.
Registration Instructions: Pre-registration is required. Program registration will not be available onsite. Due to social distancing and group size restrictions you must register all members of your party 18 months and older.
The following safety procedures and requirements will be observed for onsite classes during COVID-19:
- Class sizes are reduced to follow social distancing protocols. Materials used during the program will not be shared between participant groups and will be disinfected between each use.
- Be prepared to wear a mask at all times
- Bring your own water bottle as water fountains will not be available on site
- Please practice social distancing keep at least six feet away from visitors not in your party.
If the program is sold out, we encourage you to add your family's name to the waitlist. More program times will be added to accommodate waitlists.
