Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
The foundation of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course is the cultivation of mindfulness; a clear, non-judgmental attention to the present moment regarding the ongoing experience of body, feelings, emotions and mind. Learn and practice various mindfulness tools in a group context that are continued between class sessions. MBSR studies reveal its power to reduce medical symptoms and psychological stress while enhancing the health and well-being of program participants. Designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D., MBSR consists of 8 weekly sessions and a one-day silent retreat.
The silent retreat day will be Saturday, March 12 from 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Masks are required indoors for all visitors ages 3 and older.
