Making Great Compost 3 Ways
While our ancestors realized that compost was helpful for growing plants and improving soil health, they did not know how or why it works. They inherently knew that the single best thing you can do for your soil is to create your own plant based compost. This class will teach you the science of composting based on 50 years of research – relatively recent compared to the 2000 plus years that humans have been composting.
Come learn about the various microorganisms that do the bulk of the work making good compost, the materials and proportions you need to make it the best possible, and the three main ways to create great compost; cold compost, hot compost and vermicompost.
