Inspired by Ecology - ONLINE

Create compositions that speak to specific relationships in nature. Plants, insects, animals and soil go hand in hand, and botanical illustration can act as environmental ambassador, bringing awareness to ecological issues. Learn to mix field observation, photography and library research in order to understand the relevance and relationships of your chosen subject.

This course is an elective in the Botanical Illustration program. Prerequisites must be completed to register. The course fee does not include materials.

Prerequisites: Pencil I (Botanical Illustration), Botany for the Botanical Illustrator, Light on Form, Composition for Botanical Illustration, Perfecting Perspective, Color Layering for Colored Pencils, Color Mixing in Watercolor

Fee: $125 member, $150 non-member
