Illustrating Heirloom Irises at Chatfield Farms

Join us for a rare opportunity to illustrate history! Denver Botanic Gardens' Chatfield Farms curates a collection of rare heirloom irises, and many are so rare that they now only exist in this one location. This course will provide time to view, photograph, sketch and learn about this stunning heirloom iris collection. You will also have the unique chance to learn from staff horticulturists and view historic illustrations of irises from the 1600s and 1700s. The class will focus on preparing your iris sketches to become final plates.
